KART'S ROTI CANAI (Asian Pancake)

ROTI CANAI (also known as Roti Prata) is an Indian-Muslim traditional pancake made of dough with egg. The special texture and good property of Roti Canai is a result of skillful hand-flipped dough. The flip gives thin layers of fluffy dough and this product are pan-fry with oil or ghee1 to give an additional aroma to its taste. Roti Canai is often eaten with curry sauce either Dhall2 curry or any type of curry chicken, fish, or even sugar, peanut butter, honey, jam, etc., according to individual preference. Roti Canai is usually eaten for breakfast, and can also be served for dinner or supper. Kart's Roti Canai preserves the traditionalism of hand-flipped skills to offer the original texture.

Ghee1
Well clarified butter that can be used for frying. It is free of milk solids and does not need refrigeration. Ghee has a special nutty taste.

Dhall2

A type of dried split pea lentils used extensively in Indian vegetarian dishes. It thickens curry.

Cooking Method
